Area will become 4 times the original area.

sojal: the area Will 4 Times to the original area for example -side of square =2. Then the area Will 4 CM squares. and when the area is doubled then the area Will 16CM square

if side is double
area become
(2 {x})^{2}  \\  = 4 {x}^{2}
