Answer:

 \dfrac{1}{4}

Explanation :-

we have , 2x^2 -x + \dfrac{1}{8} = 0

=>  \dfrac{16x^2 - 8x +1}{8}

=> 16x^2 - 8x +1 = 0

=> 16x^2 -4 x -4x +1 = 0

=> 4x(4x -1) - 1(4x-1) = 0

=> (4x - 1) ( 4x-1) = 0.

=>  \dfrac{1}{4}

Explanation:

2x²-x+1/8=0

Multiplying throughout by 8 gives-

16x²-8x+1=0

(4x)² - 2*4x*1 + 1² = 0

(4x-1)(4x-1)=0

x=1/4 or x=1/4

Roots of the given quadratic equation is 1/4, 1/4

Hope it helps
