 {4}^{3} \times  {4}^{7 + x}  =  {4}^{8}

 {4}^{x + 10 }  =  {4}^{8}

bases are same so we equate powers

x + 10 = 8

x = 8 - 10

x =  - 2

=> 4^(7+x) = 4^8 / 4^3 = 4^5

=> 7+x = 5

=> x = -2
