The amount invested in first part is 3240 and the amount invested in second part is 2160.

Step-by-step explanation:

Consider the provided information.

Let Seema invest x rupees on the first part for 4  years at 5% p.a.

That means on the second part she invest 5400-x.

The formula to calculate the Simple interest is: S.I=\frac{p\times r\times t}{100}

According to question on the first part for 4  years at 5% p.a. is equal to the interest  interest on the second part for 2 years at 15% p.a.

Therefore,

\frac{x\times 5\times 4}{100}=\frac{(5400-x)\times 15\times 2}{100}

x\times 5\times 4=(5400-x)\times 15\times 2

2x=3(5400-x)

2x=16200-3x

5x=16200

x=3240

The amount invested in first part is 3240.

The amount invested in second part is 5400-3240=2160.
