Given:

x = y + 9
x - y = 9  ------------1

Also given:

x + 10 = 2 (y - 10)
x + 10 = 2y - 20
2y -x = 30 ------------2

Adding equation 1 and equation 2

y = 39 years

Therefore, x = y + 9 = 39 + 9 = 48 years

Answer - The present age of Seema is 48 years and the present age of Beena is 39 years.
