If x and y are two vectors and if they are collinear.

Then  ax+by=0

where a and b are arbitrary constant.

If they are non-collinear then

ax+by ≠ 0

Hence, ax+by will be new vector.

So it will depend on a and b.

Because a and b are arbitrary constant.

So,it will have infinite number of vectors.

So, option d is correct.
