Part I answer:

13. i) a. She has been learning English for three years .

Part II

13. ii) b. We have been working here since 2010.

Explanation:

A proper english sentence has to have three things.

  • A subject.
  • A verb.
  • A predicate.

The subject can be anything, same for predicate that is related to the subject.

It has ro have a doing verb. This expresses the work of the subject or the speaker.

Verbs are small phrases that help in building these sentences.

It has verious tenses.

  1. If the work is being done now then it is present.
  2. If the work was done before then, it is in the past so past tense.
  3. If the work will be done in some time, which means it has not happening yet, it is future tense.

If the work is happening at that right moment then 'ing' is added after the verb like: walking, cycling, running, cooking etc.

Following these rules an English sentence is easy to build.
