Answer:
- Sprinkler and drip system are methods of irrigation which can be employed in an uneven land (Option A).
Explanation:
What is sprinkler irrigation system?
- A sprinkler irrigation system is a system in which water is supplied through pipes, usually by pumping.
- It is used on uneven land where water is not sufficient.
- When water is given pressure, it escapes through the rotating nozzles.
- As a result, it gets sprinkled on top.
What is drip irrigation system?
- A drip irrigation system helps to conserve water as it allows water to drip slowly to the roots of the plants.
- It is also used to irrigate uneven land as it uniformly distributes water to all crops.
Note:
- Moat and chain pump are traditional methods of irrigation which are useful in the plains.
- The terrain in these areas helps the water flow into the fields.
