Mahatma Gandhi was born on the 2nd of October in Porbandar, in the city of Gujarat. His name was Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi and he is known as 'The father of the nation.' He was a major freedom fighter but unlike most of them he liked the follow the path of non violence which is called AHINSA. He was a rebel who inspired youth to follow paths of Satya i.e Truth. At present time, Gandhi is an Idol of many. His paths of Truth and Ahinsa are followed till date throughout the country. So renowned for this, he is called as 'Bapu'.
