An Ultrasonic Sensor is used to detect cracks in the tracks. PIR sensor is used to detect any obstacle ('human or other trains on the same track'). IR sensor is used to detect the distance of the fault from the Locomotive. An alarm is attached in the driver's cabin, which is also connected with the device.
