The statement- F is sixth must be true.

This can be solved as:

1. Position of D and C are given- 4th and 5th respectively.

So we get: _ _ _ D C _ _ ( total 7 members)

2. It is given that D is immediately behind A so we get position of A as third: _ _ A D C _ _

3. It is given that there is one person between C and G so we get position of G as 7th: _ _ A D C _ G

4. As given, F is behind D so the only position possible for F is sixth:

_ _ A D C F G

5. It is given that both E and B are ahead of F but we cannot exactly determine their position.

There are two possibilities:

B/E B/E A D C F G

[ B and E are either in the first or second position].
