Answer:

The seventeen Raids of Mahmud Ghazi was a sucess because their was no one who will stop them from raiding the Somnath temple near gujrat. If our indian rulers must have faced them together, Mahmud must not be able to complete his one raid in India.

Answer:

Mahmud of Ghazni invaded India seventeen times in the course of twenty five years. Mahmud's raids exposed the weakness of the northern states and paved the way for the conquest of India. Qutbuddin Aibak took control of Muhammad Ghori's Indian possessions and laid the foundation of the Delhi Sultanate.
