Sewage sample was diluted serially (10 fold dilution) till 1/1,000,000. 0.1 ml of this sample was mixed with 0.2 ml of bacterial culture in a soft agar tube melted to 40 degree C and poured onto NA plate. After incubation at optimum temperature, 25 plaques were obtained in the plate. Determine the titre of the bacteriophages in the sewage sample.
