additional cellular apparatus means a new cell.
during reproduction, replication of DNA takes place. Now, the replicated DNA can neither be kept within the original cell nor can be pushed out. thus a new cell ( cellular apparatus) is required for a new DNA
hope this will help u

Let me try to help work this out.
- Cellular apparatus means the generation and production of a new cell. During sexual reproduction there is replication of the DNA whereby the DNA is not stored in the cells where it is produced neither is it pushed out.
- Therefore the cellular apparatus is necessary for keeping and covering over of the DNA replicated in the reproduction process.
