Hey
Let me explain the concept used in it .
At a same time, the inclination of sun rays on an object is same . So , angle made by sun is same .
Now ,
Shadow 1 = 5 m
Height 1 = 7.5 m
Shadow 2 = 10 m
Height 2 = h m
Ummm ,
One angle is 90° and another is same ( that is of sun ) .
So , triangles are similar.
Shadow1 /Height 1 = Shadow 2 / Height 2
=> 5 / 7.5 = 10 / h
=> 1 / 7.5 = 2 / h
=> h = 7.5 * 2
=> h = 15 m
thanks :)
