Diameter of Circle =  \frac{5}{4}
Length of strip = 8 \frac{3}{4}= \frac{35}{4}
Perimeter of circle = 2πr
                              = \frac{5\pi}{4}= \frac{ 5\pi }{4}
Number of circles she can cut =
 \frac{\frac{35}{4}}{\frac{ 5\pi }{4} } = \frac{35}{5\pi  }= 2.2281692032865347007643726872152

So She can cut only 2 circles

2708: Sorry you took the question wrong it is not 11/4 it is 1 1/4
manitkapoor2: now
2708: There are two times 1 1/4
2708: Another 1 1/4 is breadth
