The poet answers that he can't compares his friend's beauty to a summer's day. Because summer's beauty is not live longer, but his friend's beauty is eternal. The summer's beauty can be destroyed by natural elements but his friend's beauty can't. It'll be remain forever through the poet's verse. Even death can't brag it's control over poetry.
