Answer:

A black hole is a region of spacetime exhibiting gravitational acceleration so strong that nothing—no particles or even electromagnetic radiation such as light—can escape from it. The theory of general relativity predicts that a sufficiently compact mass can deform spacetime to form a black hole

Answer:

Actually a black hole is a dense, extremely dense, tremendously dense( by now you should understand how dense it is) accumulation of mass which has a very high gravitational force. This is so high that light too cannot escape. Thus we cannot see them. That's why they are called black holes. All the laws of gravitation fail in black holes because their gravity is so high that it tears apart everything into finer particles than subatomic particles

It actually converts energy into matter! Reverse of what we can do on Earth. Thus time too slows down in black holes.
