Shanaya works as a creative head in the entertainment industry, where she is often required to work for long hours. Her reporting authority Kiran is very inflexible who wants the work to be done according to her liking. Shanaya tried to talk to her on several occasions and explain her as well as other team membersâ point of view but in vain, as Kiran would not budge. If anything is not done according to Kiranâs way she reprimands Shanaya in front of her peers and subordinates. Kiran would pile Shanaya with excess work and make her work from home even during holiday. Keeping the above scenario in mind, discuss the pitfalls of leadership as demonstrated by Kiran.

                    CASE STUDY - LEADERSHIP ANALYSIS

According to me,this is a very interesting case.In this case we can see that Shanaya is a creative head in a company. Her Senior Kiran is an autocratic kind of leader.Such leaders are very tough to deal with because of thir inflexible attitude. This leads to depression in employees and it effects both quality and quantity of work in an organisation. As we all know that the main motive  of every business is to achieve their organisational goals. If a leader is not able to achieve the organisational goals then he is a failure as a leader therefore we must find a good leader in this situation who can create a job satisfaction in employees and raise motivation of employees.

In this kind of a situation if Kiran can change her leadership style from autocratic to Strategic leadership then She can achieve the organisational goals and maintain a healthy work atmosphere which will lead to Emploee satisfaction

Kiran, as a leader, does not evoke clamor or respect for her behavior.

Employees like Shanaya will definitely feel let down by her stance.

It can also lead to attrition within the organization for which she works because employees may feel a lot caged by her approach.

Moreover, the organization's productivity may suffer in the long run leading to losses.

All of it can be a worrying factor for any owner.

Leaders are meant to encourage, not reprimand fellow employees.
