Because the velocity is constant and direction is not changing as it is a linear motion ( straight line motion)

so the relation between distance and Time will be of the form y=mx+c in which, if we take that the car starts from origin ,then ,c is equal to 0
where y is distance travelled and x is the time
and m is velocity

the graph will be a straight line passing through the centre inclined with the x-axis at angle of tan ^-1 (m)
