Grass plants have stomata that are circular on the top and bottom with slim central area. these are distributed equally on both sides of the surface of the grass blade. Each of these stomata is flanked by two cells on either side. These stomata are more efficient because they do not require as much water and solutes as other stomata to open the same amount.
