Time is the fourth dimension (and not spatial), besides the other three SPATIAL dimensions that we perceive.
Time, in general sense, is the measurement of lapse between events. Time is relative, though you can't in actual sense manipulate freely your motion in it, you can APPARENTLY change the rate with which you move in time, relative to anything else but your frame of reference.
