Yes it is right that shapes option is available in illustrations group in many word processing softwares like MS - Word, MS - PowerPoint etc.

How to insert a shape in such words processing softwares:-

• Click on insert tab.

• In illustrations group click on shapes drop - down arrow, a submenu will appear showing various shapes.

• Select the desired shape.

• Now click and hold the left mouse button and drag it until the shape was not in desired size.

• Release the left mouse button after making the shape, this will insert selected shape in your document.
