Active Voice refers to a sentence in which the subject is performing the action.

Passive Voice refers to a sentence in which the subject undergoes the action. In other words, it is writing the sentence in reverse order.

Example: Lucien is completing notes. (Active)

               Notes are being completed by Lucien. (Passive)

NOTE: Sentences that convey habitual actions cannot be changed to passive mode.

She offered me a cup of tea. (Active)

A cup of tea was offered to me by her. (Passive)
