Answer:

In the world of today, love has been boiled down to a series of transactions. It is used much in the same way as any other commodity like money. Some give love to receive something, while others give things to receive love. Basically, what love truly is in the Biblical sense is lost upon this generation.

The following quote talks about the complexities of a woman and how she goes way beyond her external beauty and her looks.

  • The quote tells us that even through her sophisticated nature and her beauty she is still chaotic and messy. She has her own ideologies and experiences that are not exclusive to her but wrapped in her beauty. Her beauty and her experiences are tied to each other.
  • The line also talks about two juxtaposing ideas i.e. a tornado and roses. Roses are seen as a form of beauty and grace, however, tornados are seen as a disaster as something wild and dangerous. By putting the two images together we get an idea of the complexities the writer is trying to put forth.
  • Finally, the line also talks about the divinity in this chaos and how no matter how hard life gets she is still able to maintain that grace and beauty that she is known for. There is a sense of divinity in every woman no matter where she comes from or what she has been through.
