Say, borrowed amt=p

Interest I=pnr =p*2*10/100=p/5

Shikha borrowed Rs 5000 from Rekha

Let the money borrowed (Principal, P)  be Rs P.

Rate % = 10% p.a.

Time = 2years.

We know, Simple Interest (S.I.) = PRT/100

SI = P*10*2/100 = 20P/100 = Rs P/5

So, total amount = P + SI

=  P + P/5

= 6P/5

Given, total amount submitted by her is Rs 6000

So, 6P/5 = 6000

⇒ P = (6000*5/6)

= Rs 5000

Hence, Principal money is Rs 5000
