Tourism is an important activity in the Ganga-Brahmaputra basin. The region has some world famous monuments such as the Taj Mahal at Agra, Qutub Minar at Delhi and Buddhist stupas in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Allahabad and Varanasi have religious significance and hence thousands of pilgrims visit these places.♥️
