Shobo's mother's present age is six times Shobo's present age. Shobo's age five
years from now will be one third of his mother's present age. What are their

Let the present age of shobo be x years.

As per question :-

Shobo's mother's age will be 6x years.

After five years :-

Shobo's age will be (x + 5) years.

According to the question :-

Given that,

Shobo's age 5 years from now will be 1/3 of his mother's present age.

Hence,

⟼ 6x/3 = x +5

⟼ 6x = 3x + 15

⟼ 3x = 15

⟼ x = 5

⟼x = 5

Hence,

the present age of Shobo is = 5 years

The present age of Shobo's mother's is

= 6 ×5 = 30 years
