That is the main difference between sexual and asexual reproduction. Sexual reproduction just means combining genetic material from two parents. Asexual reproduction produces offspring genetically identical to the one parent.

Fragmentation in multicellular or colonial organisms is a form of asexual reproduction or cloning, where an organism is split into fragments. Each of these fragments develop into mature, fully grown individuals that are clones of the original organism.

4)Natural vegetative propagation occurs when an axillary bud grows into a lateral shoot and develops its own roots (also known as adventitious roots). Plant structures allowing natural vegetative propagation include bulbs, rhizomes, stolons and tubers.
