2 .Magnetic separation is the process of separating components of mixtures by using magnet to attract magnetic materials. The process that is used for magnetic separation detaches non-magnetic material with those that are magnetic .

3 .All it takes is a magnet to separate the iron from the sulfur. On the other hand, if you heat the iron and sulfur, you form iron sulfide, which is a compound.
