Alveoli are tiny sacs within our lungs that allow oxygen and carbon dioxide to move between thelungs and blood stream.

Oxygen and carbon dioxide can move between lungs and bloodstream due to tiny sacs which is situated within out lungs.


These sacs are called Alveoli.


It is a part of our respiratory system and these balloon shaped sacs are situated at the end of the respiratory three.


They are arranged in clusters throughout the lungs.
