The movement of air (sometimes called turbulence) in the atmosphere of Earth causes the starlight to get slightly bent as it travels from the distant star through the atmosphere down to us on the ground. ... To our eyes, this makes the star seem to twinkle.

2) Describe the formation of rainbow in the sky with the help of a diagram.

It is formed due to dispersion of sunlight through water droplets. Water droplets act as small prism through which sunlight enters it refracts and disperses and then gets reflected internally which creates a rainbow in the sky which is seen to observer's eye
