But, suddenly Mildred found out the trestle, which would be a shortcut to their home. So, they decided to go by the trestle. But, suddenly, a train came and they jumped from the trestle to the crossbraces. They were almost choked out and they had a narrow escape that day. From this event, Helen learned a lesson and understood that shortcuts are inviting but it must be used with all caution.
