Dear diary,
Today wasn't one of those days when I was happy.
I had to lie to my friend about a issue and I regret that a lot.
The circumstances forced me to do this, now I fear if I tell her the truth, we may never be that good friends as now.
The first rule in friendship is that we must be honest.......and I failed it.
Tomorrow, I'll go straight forward to her and tell the truth.
I can't take much of this feeling of guilt.
