Diwali or Deepavali is a festival of lights celebrated by Hindus, Jain's, Sikhs and some Buddhists in every autumn. This year Diwali falls on 27 October's. On this special occasion , People takes oil bath, wear ,new dress, share sweets helps needy ones

Story of Diwali is Rama , the hero , rescuing Sita from evil Ravana. Dita's are used to light the way for Rama and Sita's return to home.This festival generally falls on mid October - mid November. Celebrations for Diwali includes lighting Dita's, home decoration, shopping, bursting firecrackers, puja, gifts, helping needy ones, performing religious rituals, feast and sweets etc..

Diwali is usually celebrated 18 days after Dussehra. Particullarly goddess Lakshmi will be worshipped because Lakshmi symbolises three virtues wealth, prosperity and good fortune. Rituals and preparations for Diwali begin days or weeks in advance.
