Air is everywhere, even if it is just an empty glass. Air occupies space and also volume. It is an invisible gaseous substance surrounding the Earth, a mixture of mainly oxygen and nitrogen. The air also surrounds the Earth's atmosphere . Air is a mixture of many gases like carbon dioxide, oxygen, nitrogen etc., dust particles and smoke. Air (oxygen ) is needed for the existence of life our planet Earth.

AIR is a heterogenous mixture of gases like oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen etc which are mostly invisible and odourless.it also contains soots and dust particles. it is present in atmosphere around the earth.Is is almost present everywhere in earth.it is in the gaseous state so it occupies some space. it have volume but not a definite shape because the molecules in it are loosely packed.
 it contains many gases needed for us to survive like the oxygen we breathe. it is a gift of god for us.it is one of the factor for the existence of life in earth.
