AUTOTROPHS : it is the mode of nutrition in which organisms can make their own food from simple raw materials. all green plants and some bacteria are autotrophs. (In Greek, auto=self, trophe = nutrition).

Hetertrophs : it is the mode of nutrition in which organisms cannot prepare their own food on their own and depend on others for it. all animals and few plants are heterotrophs. (In Greek, heterone =(an) other).

CARNIVORES: the animals, like lion and tiger that , eat only other animals, are called carnivorous.

BALANCED DIET: a diet that contains proportion of carbohydrates, fats, proteins ,vitamins, minerals, and water for good health.
