Dholavira: Dholavira in Gujarat is the latest excavated site of the Indus valley civilization which was excavated in during 1990. Dholavira was one of the largest urban centres of the Indus valley Civilization in Kachchh district of Gujarat. This particular City, unlike other cities, was divided into three parts with great stone walls all around and gateways as the entrance, it also had a large open area properly used for public purposes.
Lothal: The city of lothal situated near the gulf of cambay was specially famous for making objects of shells, stone and metal, this was possible because it was situated close to the areas from where raw materials like semi precious stones could be obtained.
