Rajya sabha is called as the upper house and lok sabha is called as the lower house. Rajya sabha doesnt dissolve like lok sabha. rajya sabha has 225 members.

it is a bicameral legislation with two houses:
the Rajya sabha ( council of states ) and the Lok sabha ( house of the people). The president in his role as head of legislation has full power to summon and prorogue either house of Parliament are to dissolve Lok sabha.
