The nephron is the basic functional and structural unit found in the kidneys. Its main functions include regulating the concentration of sodium salts and water by filtering the kidney's blood, excreting any excess in the urine and reabsorbing the necessary amounts.

Nephron is the Microscopic structure and functional unit of the kidney...it is composed of a renal corpuscles and renal tubule...a nephron is used to separate to water ions and small molecules from the blood filter...
it's main function is to regulating the concentration of sodium salts and water by filtering the kidneys blood . excretion and excess.in the urine and reabsorbing the necessary amounts...called the glomerulos and tubule... glomerulos filter your blood and tubule retrains needed substances to your blood and remove wastes...
overall it looks like a Bowman's Capsule...
