Answer :
Nitration -
The process of substituting nitro group over benzene ring by treatment of Benzene with concentrate in presence of concentrate are known as nitration reaction.
Benzene + Nitric Acid Nitro Benzene + Water
Mechanism -
Mechanism of above reaction takes place in following three steps :
1. In this step the generation of electrophile takes place.
2. In second step, electrophile attacks over benzene ring to give a resonance stabilized carbocation.
3. In this step, resonance stabilized carbocation looses proton to give final product.

ANSWER - :
Nitration is the process of adding a nitro group to an organic substrate. The most common form of nitration is adding the nitro group to an aromatic ring system. The nitration reaction mechanism involves: Formation of the nitronium ion by the action of nitric and sulfuric acids.
