The petrochemical industry is concerned with the production and trade of petrochemicals. It is directly interfaces with the petroleum industry, especially the downstream sector. A major part is constituted by the plastics (polymer) industry.

petrochemical industry...this industries and the products it makes play and enormous role in our daily lives ...imagine life without gasoline ,cosmetics ,fertilizers ,,detergents asphalt and plastic etc ....
