➡️Polluting the river water is called river pollution. Nowadays water is polluted in a high amount. Rivers are among the most important sources of freshwater on our planet and this is one of the most important reasons why we have to address river pollution issue very seriously Industrial water are released in the river and this is the main reason for river pollution. The second reason for river pollution is human activities, human wash their clothes in the rivers and pollute them and there are many more reasons for river pollution.

➡️The contamination of river water can led to various ecological disturbance. If the river water is get polluted then there will be less water for animals to drink. Polluted river can also become a source of disease For both humans and animals who drink that water. Due to river pollution the aquatic organisms are dying day by day.

➡️River pollution has become particularly serious issue in fast developing countries such as China and India. Ganges and Yangtze, for instance, are amongst world's most polluted rivers.

Answer: Short note on River pollution.

Explanation: Rivers are our lifeline but now a days people are polluting these rivers, which can cause many diseases. Large scale industrialisation and overpopulation in cities has choked and polluted the rivers. Water treatment is becoming an up-hill task for the authorities. Their is a greater need of checking the discharge of untreated industrial and human waste directly in to the rivers.

River pollution can be avoided in the following ways:-

a) We should not dispose industrial waste in the river.

b) We should not wash clothes in the river.

c) We should not pollute rivers by throwing plastics.
