Seeding is a process where you keep your BitTorrent client open even after you've finished your download to help distribute the file to other users. If others want to download the same file you just did, they will request chunks (little pieces) of this file from you and many other users (peers).

Hey mate,
I think you are meant by sowing seeds.

So,
Sowing seeds is a simple method is used in agriculture. It can done by two methods, one is manual method and the other one is by using a seed dril.
Manual method
In this method, seeds are sown by hands. It is also known as broadcasting also. It is done by scattering seeds by hands.

Using a seed drill
It is a machine which places seeds at the correct depth and covers them with soil it also give proper spacing between each seed.
