TRANSHIMALYA

The Transhimalaya or "Gangdise Nyenchen Tanglha range", is a 1600-kilometre-long mountain range in China, extending in a west–east direction parallel to the main Himalayanrange.



HIMALAYA

The Himalayas are a mountain range in South Asia. The west end is in Pakistan. They run through Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh,Uttaranchal, Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh states in India, Nepal, and Bhutan.



PURVANCHAL PLATEAU

The Purvanchal Mountains cover the states of Assam, Manipur, Tripura, Nagaland, Meghalaya and Mizoram. The Garo, Khasi and Jaintia hillsare not located in this range which are part of Deccan plateau. Purvanchal hill range include the Patkai, Naga, Barail range, Manipur and Mizo hills.
