RAM :- This is also a part of computers memory . It stores all the data and the instruction and ( the result obtained from its calculation . This is a volatile storage which means that all the information will be lost , when the computer is switched off . The access time for getting information is faster one . This memory is otherwise called as temporary memory .
ROM :- Read only memory ( ROM ) is a type of storage medium that permanently stores data on personal computer ( PCs ) and other electronic device . It contains the programming needed to start a PC , which is essential for boot-up ; it performs major input / output tasks and hold programs or software instructions .

Answer Of Your Question☺️

RAM:-RAM(Random Access Memory) Is Part Of CPU of A Computer. Is Works As Memory Buffer Of A Computer.RAM Stores Data in the order in which it will be used.
It Calls "Random Access" Because It access Any Memory Cell directly If The Row And Column Is Known That Intersect The Cell.
It Consider As Volatile Memory Which stores Lost Information in It.it Stores information but not Permanently.
if you think bumping your RAM from 3GB to 8GB is going to increase the speed of a regular application, like a video game you should think again.
--------------------------------------------------
ROM:-ROM(Read Only Memory)it Can Not Be Removed But We Can Read It So It Is "Read Only Memory".ROM is Volatile Memory.'s used to store the start-up instructions for a computer, also known as the firmware. Most modern computers use flash-based ROM.
ROM Is Strong Medium Which Use Computer And Many Other Electrical Devices.ROM is mostly used for fimware updates.
