Child marriage is an old practice which is still prevalent in India, especially in Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Haryana. With the implementation of India's development and modernization and strict rules of marriageable age, there has been a considerable decline in the number of child marriages due to 18 for boys and 21 for boys.
