Discrimination is a social division based on gender, caste, religion, class etc....
It has a very bad impact on the society. people become narrow minded and the majority takes over the minority. It makes the minor people feel alienated and they start making protests etc.. The women are always treated low in the society. People believe that women can't do anything.
The consequences of discrimination leads to conflicts. These conflicts leads to loss of lives, livelihoods and people are forced to leave their mother land as refugees.
To avoid these, the government has taken certain measures. It gave reserved seats for SC's, ST's and OBC's.
For making peace, the change should start from an individual and then to the society. Every one is need to be literated.
