Short story of i can not climb trees anymore

Ruskin Bond is the writer of this story. He goes to his grandmother's house to cherish his childhood moments.

He finds a small kid near the tree in his grandmother's house, the writer introduces himself as the previous owner of the house. He points to the cross on the tree and says that it belongs to him.

He implicates that if he was a child, he would've climbed up the tree and reached for the cross but as he became an elder he cannot do that anymore. The child climbs the tree and brings him the cross but he asks the boy to keep it.
