Years ago in Ratanpur, Jagir-the thief dressed as a sage came to live there. The innocent villagers started praying and following him.
They even started offering money, food, valuables to the sage unknown of the fact that it was the sage’s easy way of earning a livelihood.
A little boy named Kashi who was a witty lad came to know about the reality of the fraud sage.
In order to expose him and teach him a lesson, he decided to play a trick.
Kashi along with his friends went to the sage and plucked a hair from his beard.
He then announced in front of the humble villagers that he will be blessed forever as he has got the holy man’s hair.
Upon hearing this, the meek villagers jumped at the sage to get a strand of hair from the sage’s beard.
His artificial beard fell off and this identity was revealed.
This made the villagers catch him and hand him to the police. Thus, one should never hide behind a lie.
Sooner or later the truth will prevail.
